koped this off youtube after seeing it on dear's blog... it's Ji Ba Ban, a modified version of the original, in the roystan tan movie 12 lotus. the original's this hip techno getai version from a malaysia singer (it's a very old song, even jin hin was singing it like a year ago? HAHAHA), which i've recently been hearing on 933.
roystan tan's movies have this impeccable ability to turn the most funky and techno-beat song into sad sad sorrowful songs, just like the song chen wei lian was singing in 881 after chen jin lang died (never did figure out what it's called). have no idea whether it's roystan tan who's doing it or some other composer, but it's really quite good. and all of his productions have this way of taking the mundane things in life and making a tear-jerker out of it, or at least leave you coming out of the theatre feeling 伤感 (and unlike somebody, i'm using it correctly)
sad though, that i didnt go and watch the show, coz after mom came back from watching it she said it wasnt good, and then dear went to watch it with her ah ma partly coz i said i didnt feel like watching. so now i dont really have anybody to watch it with. haiz
maybe i'll go catch it myself post-patho i guess... hopefully it's still on by then.
